The first stage of learning to drive for " Special Needs " Clients is a thorough Assessment with Julia to establish your needs and abilities . You will then embark on your first 9 week session as an introduction to " Learning to Drive " each 9 week session from here will have a planned lesson set up with goals and aspirations to achievement.
I cannot thank Julia enough for the way she delivers this intense but thoroughly enjoyable " introduction to the requirements of the needs of people with special needs " driver training course . Even tho the course is very intense the way it is delivered helps you gain confidence in your own ability to tackle the many differences required to have a much deeper insite into how people with Autistism and Aspergers view the world , and for the want of a better description " view the world thru their eye's " . This course takes you right back to basics and actually realise the importance of clear uncluttered driver training using the " core competences and PST's " to help these people with their many and varied fears ...and distractions become safe confident independent drivers .. The course for me is the start of my journey to becoming an audit registered instructor trainer with EXELDIA and should you be lucky enough to have the opportunity to complete the Revolutions course grab it with both hands and have your eyes opened to the " Secret world " these people live in and the exceptional life they lead whilst trying to deal with and overcome the everyday problems they live with.
